“A controversial “lost” poem written by Percy Bysshe Shelley when he was a teenager is to go on display to the public for the first time, more than 100 years after it helped get him expelled from Oxford University.The 172-line poem, a polemic about war, was thought to have been lost to history after it was first published in 1811, after the young writer upset his university so much they sent him down.The revolutionary lines were rediscovered among private papers in 2006, when they were sold to another unknown collector without being seen by the public.It has now been announced as the 12 millionth book acquired by the Bodleian Libraries, as the pamphlet goes back to its roots at Oxford University…”
