As a writer, I can’t begin to articulate the shock, grief, defiance, and anger this horrific act has evoked in me. I’ve had Byron’s quote stuck in my head all day, one I’m guessing the cartoonists would appreciate:
“Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine.”
